Terms and Conditions of Kali Travels and Adventures
These terms and conditions, including the reservation form and all written communications (such as emails exchanged between the customer and Comercial y Servicios Kali SPA), constitute a binding contractual agreement between the parties. A reservation made via phone or online implies that the customer has read, understood, and agrees to these terms and conditions.
It is mandatory to present at check-in the passport and the immigration card of entry to the country (original and valid). Only with this documentation can the customer prove their tourist status in Chile. Failure to present these documents will result in the payment of the Value Added Tax (VAT) of 19% at check-in.
We offer exclusive rates for Chilean nationals and residents. Those who booked with this rate and do not possess Chilean ID (RUN) must pay the difference at check-in. Reservations are nominative and non-transferable.
To reserve a program with Kali Travels and Adventures, the customer must provide:
The remaining balance of the trip must be paid at least 70 days prior to the start date. The reservation will not be confirmed until Kali Travels and Adventures has received the initial deposit of 30%. After receiving the deposit and the completed forms, the final invoice will be issued, detailing the total cost and pending balance.
For reservations made with less than 70 days' notice, it is considered a last-minute booking, and full payment (100%) must be made within a maximum of 48 hours to confirm the reservation. Until full payment is received, the reservation is not guaranteed and may be subject to changes or additional charges.
Online payment with credit card in USD: A secure link will be sent via WeTravel. A fee of 2.9% applies to Visa and MasterCard, and 3.9% to American Express. There are no fees for transfers from U.S. bank accounts.
Online payment with credit card in CLP: A secure payment link will be sent without extra charges (each bank conducts its own exchange rate).

For international transfers, each party is responsible for their own banking fees. The customer must indicate "OUR" in the transfer description so that the fee is fully covered by the customer.
Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to ventas@kalitravel.co. Refunds will be calculated as follows:
If a customer does not arrive at the refuge or campsite on the scheduled check-in date, it will be considered a No Show. An invoice in local currency will be issued for the total reservation amount. If the reservation was paid in dollars, a receipt in Chilean pesos for the total amount will be issued.
Kali Travels and Adventures is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or No Shows caused by causes beyond their control, such as adverse weather conditions, road closures, natural phenomena, airline connection issues, delays in transfers, protests, or any other external causes. It is recommended to purchase travel insurance to cover these unforeseen events.
